Fox Classic Hunter bullets are lead-free and designed for all hunting situations that a European hunter may encounter, from close shots at wild boar in drives to extremely long shots at chamois in the mountains. The bullets are lead-free and made from a copper and zinc alloy. The selected material ensures deformation into a mushroom shape even at lower impact velocities (500 m/s). Grooves on the bullet reduce the contact surface between the bullet and the gun barrel, thereby reducing pressure and increasing speed. The degree of deformation is determined by the depth of the cavity at the top of the bullet. The tip made of thermally stable polymer improves both external and terminal ballistics. Upon impact, the bullet deforms into a mushroom shape with approximately double the diameter of the caliber. Controlled and rapid deformation allows effective energy transfer from the bullet to the body of the game. All this together ensures an exceptional stopping effect, yet minimal meat damage.
