Fox Classic hunter bullets are lead-free and designed for all hunting situations that a European hunter may encounter, from close shots at wild boars in drives to extremely long shots at chamois in mountainous regions. The bullets are lead-free, made from a copper and zinc alloy. The selected material ensures deformation into a mushroom shape even at lower impact velocities (500 m/s). Grooves on the bullet reduce the contact surface area between the bullet and the rifle barrel, which in turn reduces pressure and increases speed. The degree of deformation is determined by the depth of the hollow point at the top of the bullet. The tip made of thermally stable polymer improves both external and terminal ballistics. Upon impact, the bullet deforms into a mushroom shape with approximately double the caliber diameter. Controlled and rapid deformation allows for efficient energy transfer from the bullet to the body of the game. All of this together ensures exceptional stopping power while causing minimal meat damage.
