Fox Classic hunter bullets are lead-free and designed for all hunting situations that a European hunter may experience, from close shots at wild boars in drives to exceptionally long shots at chamois in the mountains. The bullets do not contain lead and are made of copper and zinc alloy. The chosen material ensures deformation into a mushroom shape even at lower impact velocities (500 m/s). Grooves on the bullet reduce the contact surface between the bullet and the gun barrel, which consequently lowers pressure and increases speed. The degree of deformation is determined by the depth of the hollow point at the top of the bullet. The tip made of thermally stable polymer improves both external and terminal ballistics. Upon impact, the bullet deforms into a mushroom shape with approximately double the caliber diameter. Controlled and rapid deformation allows for efficient energy transfer from the bullet to the body of the game. All this together ensures an exceptional stopping effect while simultaneously causing minimal meat damage.
