Fox Classic hunter bullets are lead-free and designed for all hunting situations that a European hunter may encounter, from close shots on boar in drives to extremely long shots on chamois in high mountains. The bullets contain no lead, made of copper and zinc alloy. The selected material ensures deformation into a mushroom shape even at lower impact speeds (500 m/s). The grooves on the bullet reduce the contact surface between the bullet and the rifle barrel, thereby reducing pressure and increasing speed. The degree of deformation is determined by the depth of the hollow at the top of the bullet. The tip made of thermally stable polymer improves both external and target ballistics. Upon impact, the bullet deforms into a mushroom shape with about double the caliber diameter. Controlled and rapid deformation allows for efficient energy transfer from the bullet to the game body. All this together ensures an extraordinary stopping effect while minimizing meat damage.
