Fox Classic hunter bullets are lead-free and designed for all hunting situations an European hunter may encounter, from a close shot at a wild boar in a drive to an extremely long shot at a chamois in the mountains. The bullets contain no lead, made from a copper and zinc alloy. The selected material ensures deformation into a mushroom shape even at lower impact velocities (500 m/s). Grooves on the bullet reduce the contact surface between the bullet and the rifle barrel, thereby reducing pressure and increasing velocity. The degree of deformation is determined by the depth of the cavity at the bullet's tip. The tip made of thermally stable polymer enhances both external and terminal ballistics. Upon impact, the bullet deforms into a mushroom shape with approximately double the caliber diameter. Controlled and rapid deformation allows effective energy transfer from the bullet to the body of the game. All this together ensures exceptional stopping effect while causing minimal meat damage.
