Along with the Speed Tip point, this bullet offers exceptional stopping power even at long distances. This bullet is suitable for all common game, but is particularly ideal for hunting light to medium game.

RWS Short Rifle is a series of cartridges designed to compensate for the lower projectile speed from a short barrel. RWS Short Rifle cartridges provide up to 9% higher projectile speed from barrels 400-600 mm long. In addition, the cartridges have reduced muzzle flash and pressure and are loaded in nickel-plated cases. Reduced flash and pressure at the muzzle improve the longevity and accuracy of the suppressor. Nickel-plated cases ensure more reliable feeding and extraction as well as better moisture resistance.
