A lot of engineering went into the Mepps LongCast. To start, each LongCast is completely balanced, allowing the blade to spin freely and easily, a trait found in every Mepps spinner. Perfect balance does not just happen. Every component on the LongCast, from the wire to the treble hook, has been carefully selected and tested with other components to ensure proper balance.
The heavy bullet-shaped body of the LongCast takes the effort out of casting over long distances. Additionally, the LongCast sinks quickly and stays very close to the bottom throughout the retrieve, making it ideal for fishing in fast currents or deep waters. Anglers will love it.
