To create a series of reels worthy of the Prologic name, we had to go back to the drawing board and start from scratch. There was no option for 'off-the-shelf' reels to diminish the value, so we worked for more than two years on a new offering from the ground up. The project represents the largest investment in tooling in the company’s entire history – not a single corner was cut.

More important than the time and money we invested in this offering is the passion. We worked closely with an elite team of experienced carp anglers from all over Europe to help us create reels that meet the demands of anglers of all different abilities and have a modern carp fishing look with excellent tools. From the first concept to the final product, these reels are truly made by anglers for anglers. We went the extra mile and then some!

The range includes three major series of reels and three series of Bite & Fight reels. Wherever you look, these reels are brimming with quality and innovative ideas. A prime example is the Bite & Fight reels – instead of opting for either a quick drag system or the usual free spool system, we combined both in one reel, giving you the maximum choice and control when playing the carp of your dreams. Another major innovation is our proprietary Dura Grease lubricant, which was specially formulated for these reels. Unlike traditional reel lubricants, Dura Grease consistently performs at temperatures between -30 °C and 160 °C and offers much better stickiness, ensuring that the gears are always coated with a layer of grease even upon contact. This greatly enhances corrosion resistance, smoothness, and makes the interior of the reel much more durable. It is also completely biodegradable.

Elsewhere, we used three different types of gears to transfer torque made of zinc, CNC aluminum, or CNC brass, and three different types of friction control systems made from felt, carbon fiber, or a mixture of fiberglass and carbon. Other innovations include our Hydro
