Fox and Predator Attracting Whistle NORDIK PREDATOR Agony
Description:
Nordik Agony is a call that creates a true sound of pain and agony and is very easy to blow. The sounds produced by the call are general wails that are effective for calling foxes and other predators.
Nordik Agony is a closed reed call, making it more sensitive to moisture, so be careful not to let saliva enter the whistle.
Nordik Agony can also very effectively mimic the sound of a crow.
Instructions:
Rest the mouthpiece on your teeth or lips and blow air bursts into the whistle. Change the length of the push and with one hand before the call seek a more vibrant sound. The call is easy to blow, so do not use any force, adjust the push until you find the true, raspy sound without simultaneously using your throat or growling.
If you want a higher sound, apply more pressure on the mouthpiece.
Crow:
Bite down completely on the mouthpiece with your teeth or lips and blow into the call while simultaneously completely releasing the mouthpiece.
Suggestions for setting up in the hunting ground
Open fields:
Intensely call for 15-20 seconds, be silent for 2-3 minutes, and continue for 20-40 minutes at each stand.
Smaller fields and wooded areas:
Intensely call for 15-20 seconds, be silent for 5-6 minutes, and then 20-30 minutes for each stand.
Note that predators often come downwind to ensure there is no larger predator that could pose a threat. Try to find a stand where you can observe your own wind and ensure you are well camouflaged!
Don't forget, practice makes perfect!
