Aquatabs tablets for water disinfection

Aquatabs are water disinfection tablets and work surfaces from leading manufacturer Medentech from Ireland. They are intended for disinfecting microbiologically contaminated drinking water and are widely used worldwide, especially in Africa and Asia, where water sources are often heavily polluted.

They are used while traveling, on holidays, camping, during outdoor activities, and in emergencies. They are designed for the general user. The tablets do not color water, and the water does not have an objectionable taste. They do not contain iodine, are safe to use, stable in form, and come packaged in secure packaging.

Do not consume the tablet!

The active substance in the tablets is sodium dichloroisocyanurate NaDCC, which ensures maximum effectiveness in eliminating microbial contamination of water. They are effective against cysts (Giardia), bacteria, and viruses so that the water is safe for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking, washing fruits and vegetables, and disinfecting surfaces. Treated water remains usable for at least two weeks if stored in a closed container.
